Title: Kabar Shell Basket

as i was walking past my aunty’s garden it was decorated full of Kabar shell, she loved reef walking before her time.

Art Centre notes: 

The basket / bag is made of natural raffia / cotton / jute / sea chord / seeds.

It is made using a traditional ‘one twist’ method. The strap is adjustable / open / closed at the end. It has long tassels above and/or below.

The dyes are commercial and colour fast.

Length of strap: 18cm
